Humanities Key Stage 4

Students can choose one or more of the following subjects new 1-9 GCSE courses: Geography (AQA), History (Edexcel), Psychology (OCR), Religious Studies (AQA) and Sociology (WJEC).

In Geography, students will embark upon an exciting and relevant course, which looks at the balanced framework of physical and human themes.

In History, students will study different aspects of the past, so they can engage with key issues such as conflict, and understand how the past influences the future.

In Religious Studies, students cover a range of religious perspectives, with a focus on Islam and Christianity.

In Psychology, students explore psychological theories which endeavour to explain human behaviour.

In Sociology, students study the development, structure, and functioning of human society.
