The results are in and we have a had a wonderful morning celebrating with our Year 11 2018. The changes to 9-1 grading and GCSE content has not been easy for anyone but I am so proud of how our pupils have stepped up to this challenge.
Our results have improved yet again. This is the third in a row!
We our so proud of every pupil, parent and staff that have pulled together to achieve these brilliant results. I know the new grades can be confusing, this link is a useful guide to help parents understand the changes – https://www.ssatuk.co.uk/cpd/school-improvement/
It’s been difficult, but they smashed it – 60% of our pupils are achieving a level of 4-9 in both English and Maths. Even more pleasing is the percentage of our students who achieved the new grade 9-7, indeed the top 2 boys and girls got 30 grades at 9-7 between them.
It really does prove that a little bit of hard work and determination really does make a difference!
I wish the class of 2018 happiness, health and success in future endeavours – don’t forget us because we will always remember you.
Once a Strefordian, always a Stretfordian.
