Just before half term we were able to start playing fixtures against other schools. We have managed to cram in a few over the last working week or so. Please find pictures of our victorious year 11 and year 7 boys basketball teams below. Along with our year 7&8 girls finally making their debuts in an agonising 4-3 loss but it is so good to see them competing after their impeccable attendance at training. Our Dance hopefuls were also treated to a day at Shock Out studios in Manchester, the videos of their performances are available with Mr Adekoya if you want to be impressed!

Our year 8&9 boys came close against Sale High in basketball – special mention to Jojo. That guy is a frightening athlete! He was so mad that we didn’t win that I couldn’t get the team together for a photo. A 33 – 27 loss after being 17 points down at one point is commendable.

Our year 10 boys FINALLY had a fixture where none of them had covid or broken bones – a very talented group who we are glad to see back in action.

Have a look for any students that you know because their little faces light up when you talk to them about representing school!
