GCSE results day is on Thursday 22nd August 2024. The school will be open to students from 9:30am until 11:00am to collect their examination results.
Students should enter the school by the gate adjacent to the main reception and then proceed to the dining hall, where results will be available to collect in a sealed envelope from staff who will be located at tables arranged in alphabetical (surname) order.
If your child is unable to come to collect their results in person, a family member can pick them up on their behalf, but your child MUST have provided signed written permission in order to receive the results.
In addition, Mrs Kidd, Deputy Head teacher, will be available to offer advice and guidance as well as staff from Trafford Connexions, Trafford College Group and Trafford Growth Company.
If you have any queries before the results day, please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail: [email protected]
We very much look forward to celebrating the culmination of five years hard work with your child and wish them every success for the future as they embark on their further educational studies.
Please note that the actual certificates will be formally presented to all Year 11 students at the annual Class of 2024 GCSE Presentation Evening, at the end of November at Stretford High School.
I am writing to inform you about the arrangements for the GCSE results day on the 22nd of August 2024. The school will be open to Year 10 students from 10.30am until 11.30am to collect their English Language examination result. Students should enter the school by the main gate and then proceed to the dining room, where results will be available to collect in a sealed envelope from staff who will be located at tables arranged in alphabetical order. To avoid overcrowding only the student or carer will be allowed in to collect results.
If your child is unable to collect results in person, a family member can pick up results on the student’s behalf, but you must have signed written permission from your child in order to receive the results.
We very much look forward to celebrating Year 10’s hard work which they will continue to build upon going forward.
Mrs R D Kidd
