The school holds an Open Evening for Year 6 children annually in October (date TBC), where prospective pupils and their parents/carers are able to visit the school, talk to our students, and get involved with subject activities. Our current pupils will show you around, give you an honest account of life at Stretford High School and be happy to answer any questions you may have. During the evening Mrs Doward, the Headteacher, will deliver a presentation which parents will find very informative.
For those who are unable to attend the evening, or who wish to see the school during a ‘working day’, please contact the PA to the Head Teacher, Miss H Adshead, who will accompany groups of prospective parents and pupils around the school. firstname.lastname@example.org
We appreciate that the transition to secondary school can be a difficult and daunting time for Year 6 children and their parents/carers. By providing as much information as possible about our school we aim to help you make an informed decision about your child’s future. We believe that such openness about both your and our expectations of the school of your choice forms the basis of the home/school partnership essential to your child’s achievement.
