BIMA Digital Day 2021

Some Year 10 students have been taking part in the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) Digital Day.

The day is a unique opportunity to give pupils an insight into digital careers.

This year’s BIMA Digital Day was working with WWF (not the wrestling foundation), with the pupils spending the day in researching, designing and presenting a digital solution (whether it’s an app, or a device) to climate change with the assistance and experience of a digital agency based just down the road.

There was the opportunity of one of the teams to be nominated to the National competition to win the school £500, and I am pleased to say that team JustEco (Alian, Daod, Hamid and Ahmed) are Stretford’s representatives in the National competition!
