Performing and Expressive Arts (Art, Drama, Music)

PEXA and COVID 19

During lockdown your child was offered a range of cross curricular projects which addressed directly the Arts and the positive impact these can have on your emotional well being.

As a result our first focus on returning to in school lessons has been to engage  your child through practical lessons and reignite their love for learning by creating and making.  We have planned where possible a range of practical projects where your child can take part in Art, Drama and Music.

Some of you may be concerned that your child may have gaps in their learning, however, we would like to reassure you that your child is receiving a diverse curriculum that bridges any gaps. Our curriculum intends to inspire students, develop skills, build self confidence and nurture talents. PEXA curriculum instils positive attitudes, resilience and nurtures the social and moral development of each child. We never cap outcomes and hold, at our core, the social, moral and cultural development of all students ensuring parity of access to all subjects.
