Pupil Premium & Hardship Fund

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers.

Pupil premium funding is available to local authority maintained schools, including special schools and pupil referral units.

Hardship Fund

Stretford High School strives to ensure that all students are offered equal opportunities irrespective of circumstance.

If you would like your child to be offered an opportunity that may not be possible because of financial hardship, the leadership team and governors would like to support you.

We offer to ‘match fund’ your payment for an event, club membership, trip, sporting activity. For example if the cost of the event is £200, Stretford High would contribute £100 if the request is considered worthwhile and valid.

Please complete the following request form if you would like to be considered for this match funding: Hardship Application Fund form
