Dear Stretfordians,
We are all deeply saddened by the death of Queen Elizabeth II this afternoon and we send our deepest sympathies to her family, first and foremost.
She has been an inspiration to us all in her dedication to public service for 70 years. Indeed, she will continue to be so as we hold her in our hearts and learn from her unwavering strength, dignity and duty.
As a school, we will of course observe the 10 days of mourning. We will continue with the same strength, dignity and duty which she modelled for us.
At this point the school will remain open as normal during this period, unless advised otherwise by the Department for Education.
