Stretford High School is a richly diverse, non-selective, 11-16 Co Educational school in Trafford (a selective educational borough). The school is an outstanding ITT provider (MMU), holds Consultant School Status and works in close partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club and Manchester United Foundation.
We are committed to ensuring that the young people we have a privilege to work with are prepared for a changing world. To help us to achieve this goal, we balance academic work with a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities and we value sporting and cultural achievement equally. We also have a team of dedicated and highly talented professionals, who are committed to high academic expectations and delivering strong pastoral support and care for our students.
Young people have a wonderful opportunity to learn how to shine and then achieve at Stretford High School. We are passionate about potential and are considered to be a very caring school; where relationships are very strong between young people and teachers.
Candidates should share the common values of the school, be dedicated, organised and totally committed to raising achievement and securing the best possible outcomes for our students. The School is particularly interested in candidates who work collaboratively, innovatively and who give their time and energy to leading co-curricular activities.
