Celebrating Achievements and Upcoming Events
Message from Mrs. Doward, Headteacher
Mrs. Doward reflects on the swift passage of the year and expresses gratitude for the community’s support and the extraordinary accomplishments of the students. She looks forward to the final week of term, which is packed with activities celebrating student achievements and community spirit.
Key Events in the Last Week of Term
- Monday: Consistently Fabulous Day – Recognition for students with excellent attendance, punctuality, and effort.
- Tuesday: Stretford Summer Fair – Stalls, games, and a ‘sponge the teacher’ event featuring Mrs. Doward.
- Wednesday: Sports Day – Celebrating students excelling in sports throughout the year.
- Thursday: Trips and Activities Day – Trips to Alton Towers, cinema outings, and in-school activities.
- Friday: Last Day of Term – Early finish at 12:30 PM.
- Monday (15th): Full uniform or PE kit for Consistently Fabulous invitees.
- Tuesday (16th): Own clothes for all students (Summer Fair).
- Wednesday (17th): Full uniform or PE kit for Sports Day participants.
- Thursday (18th): PE kit for in-school activities, own clothes for trips.
- Friday (19th): Own clothes for all students.
- Collection Date: Tuesday, 16th July during Form Time.
- Purpose: Contributing to the 2025 Year 11 Prom and Unicef.
- Last Day of Summer Term: Friday, 19th July 2024, school ends at 12:30 PM.
- Return Date for Autumn Term: Wednesday, 4th September 2024.
