Summary

Reflecting on the academic year, Mrs. Doward highlights the progress made and plans for the next year. Key points include:

  • The final full week of the academic year is next week. Monday 24th June is a staff inset day.
  • New Timetables: Students will start their new timetable on Tuesday 25th June.
  • Summer Learning: Resources will be available for students to consolidate past learning and prepare for Term 1.
  • Eid al Adha: School is open on Monday 17th June. Please notify the school if your child will be absent for religious observance.

Year 10 Mock Assessments

  • Commencement: 19th June
  • Key Reminders: Arrive by 8.20 am, check timetables, and read the information booklet.

No Car Day Event

  • Prize Winner: Ebony in Year 8 won the bike competition with a creative cartwheel video.

Parent Voice

  • Parent feedback is used for strategic planning.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Positive feedback received.
  • Parents’ Evening:Preference for in-person meetings with subject teachers.
  • Curriculum Books: Digital copies preferred, but paper copies are available at reception.

Community Events

  • ParentHub Celebration: Monday 17th June at 2.30 pm – parents/carers and relatives welcome!
