Highlights of the Week

Message from the Headteacher – Mrs. Nic Doward extends her gratitude to parents and students for their support and participation in recent school events. As Year 11 students begin their study leave, she commends their dedication and wishes everyone a pleasant half term.

Year 11 Study Leave – Year 11 students have commenced their study leave, returning only for exams and targeted revision sessions. Their hard work and determination are highly appreciated.

No Car Day Campaign – Stretford’s second annual ‘No Car Day’ was a success, with Great Stone Road closed from 08:00 to 08:30 to promote active travel. Special thanks to local councillors and the community for their support.

Trip to Manchester Fo Guang Shan Temple – Twenty-eight Year 7 students visited the Manchester Fo Guang Shan Temple, exploring spirituality, meditation, and Buddhist practices. The day was enlightening and enjoyable for all participants.

Forest School Activities – Students engaged in various activities at Forest School, including exploration, climbing, and a campfire session. Their enthusiasm and curiosity were commendable.
