SUMMARY (for translation purposes)
In a recent update, Mrs Doward, the Headteacher of SHS, addressed the issue of parking during drop-off and pick-up times at the school. She has provided some guidelines to ensure the safety of students, parents, and the community.
- Drop-off away from the main entrance to reduce congestion.
- Avoid double parking as it can obstruct traffic flow and create hazards.
- Be mindful of pedestrians, especially young children.
- Follow traffic rules and regulations, including no-parking zones.
- Consider carpooling to reduce the number of vehicles during peak times.
- Encourage walking to school, especially as the weather warms up.
- Year 10 and 11 students now have a quiet, calm space in the library on Wednesdays.
- In addition, Miss Hodge has announced a new session in the library for KS4 students.
- A display of recommended reads about the Holocaust and other WW2 events is available in the library.
