Summary

This week marked the beginning of our new academic year. Students have embraced the change with enthusiasm, setting a positive tone for the upcoming months.

Student Achievements:

  • Art Exhibition: Our Year 11 students showcased their creativity in a spectacular Art Exhibition on June 21st, accompanied by talented musicians and singers.
  • Digital Futures Academy: Year 2 graduates celebrated their achievements with a scavenger hunt at Old Trafford, demonstrating critical thinking, teamwork, and digital literacy.
  • Young Writers’ Competition: Several Year 7 students had their poems published in the national anthology “Through Their Eyes.”

Key Events

  • Year 10 Mock Exams: Congratulations to all Year 10 students for completing their mock exams with dedication and hard work.
  • Work Experience Placements: Year 10 students will be heading out for their work experience placements from July 1st to 5th.
  • Mock Interview Day: Scheduled for July 8th, Year 10 students will practice their interview skills in a supportive environment.

Activities and Events

  • Rounders Tournament: Year 7 girls made an impressive debut at the Rounders Tournament, showcasing their potential and teamwork.
  • Masterclass Football Fundraiser: The annual Y11 vs Y10 football game was a thrilling match, ending in a 4-2 victory for Year 10.
  • Careers Encounter with TT Games Studio: KS3 students had an insightful session with James from TT Games Studio, learning about game design and the working world.
