Stretford High Year 7 played their first ever away game against Wellacre on 21/11/17. The game started at a ferocious pace as O’Neil began working his magic in the Wellacre half. He was supported by Daniel with his silky dribbling style and after 3 minutes Stretford had taken a 12-0 lead. Leon ensured that the defensive aspect of the game was followed through that allowed the rest of the team to play with freedom.
Stretford High continued to pressure and develop throughout the game. A strong display from Aaron all over the court saw well deserved reward as he contributed with a few baskets in the closing minutes. Stretford managed to complete a convincing win with the scoreline finishing 44-14.
