SHS vs Ashton on Mersey (Yr 7 Basketball)

Stretford High year 7’s competed against Ashton on Mersey in a close game of basketball this evening.

Stretford battled and battled but the ball just wouldn’t drop for them. An energetic and resilient performance saw them fall just short of the mark in a 13-17 loss.

A special mention for man of match, Leon (holding the ball in the picture). He broke up attack after attack and set his team away with some accurate passing.
