Transition – Info For New Students/Parents

New Students 2019

Congratulations on your child being offered a place at Stretford High School.  With over 400 applications for 190 places, we are delighted that your child has successfully gained a place in our school.

Here at Stretford High we are very proud of the achievements of our students; from their first day they work hard to attain the highest qualifications they possibly can and to become part of our exciting learning community.  Your child will be joining a thriving environment where they will be encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning.  A wealth of opportunity will be provided to allow every child to grow both academically and personally.

Important information you will need to know to help your child to settle in, make new friends and learn well here at Stretford:

  • Parent Information Booklet
  • Student Information Booklet
  • Uniform Policy (found on our policies page)
  • Privacy Notice (also found on our policies page)
  • Parent Agreement Pack

Please take some time to read through the information but also feel free to contact the school should you have any queries or concerns. You will also find our school website a great source of information and good news.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you into our Stretford High School Community and look forward to meeting you soon.
