SHS News 15/01/2026

I hope you have all had a wonderful week. It has been a busy and productive time at school, and I am delighted to share some of the fantastic work our students have been doing.

✨ Building Healthy Relationships

This week, a group of our students took part in a series of Healthy Relationship Workshops. These sessions provided a brilliant opportunity for our young people to explore the key themes essential for building positive, respectful, and lasting connections with others.

The workshops were held in a supportive and safe environment, allowing students to speak openly, ask questions, and learn from one another with confidence.

Why This Matters: Our CARE Principles

As a community school, we believe that education goes far beyond the classroom walls. Supporting our students to navigate relationships with kindness and respect aligns perfectly with our core CARE principles:

  • Community: Strengthening the bonds that tie us together.

  • Aspirations: Encouraging students to set high standards for how they treat themselves and others.

  • Resilience: Giving students the tools to handle challenges in social situations.

  • Education: Providing vital life skills that will serve them long after they leave us.

We are incredibly proud of the maturity and engagement shown by all the students involved. It is heartening to see our school values being put into practice so vibrantly!

Thank you, as ever, for your support

Take CARE
