Dear Parents and Carers,
As the summer term begins, we extend a warm welcome back to all our students. We hope you all had a restful break and are ready for a busy and exciting final few months of the academic year.
We’re already starting to make plans for our end-of-year trips and activities, which are always a highlight for our students. We will be sharing the options available with the students and we encourage you to discuss these with your child so they can make an informed choice about their preferred “treat.” Information on how to sign up for their chosen activity will follow shortly.
We also want to take a moment to recognise the fantastic commitment to learning shown by so many of our students through their excellent attendance. Students who have achieved 97% or higher attendance since September have been awarded a 25-point bonus as a testament to their dedication. We will continue to closely monitor strong attendance for the remainder of the academic year, and I very much look forward to celebrating the ongoing success of our 97%+ attendance club at the end of the year.
For our Year 11 students, this term marks the start of their GCSE examinations. We want to take this opportunity to wish them the very best of luck in their exams.
