Dear Parents/Carers

We are delighted to share with you some exciting news about our growing international partnership with schools in China. In July, we were proud to host a delegation from Jiangsu Province, which included students and teachers from Changshu High School and Changshu Kuncheng Middle School. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to connect with their peers from another part of the world and to share ideas and experiences.

This week, we were once again pleased to welcome a group of school leaders from China to Stretford High School. Their visit focused on exploring our curriculum design and seeing first-hand the innovative teaching practices that shape learning here. During their time with us, the delegation observed lessons, engaged in thoughtful discussions with our students, and met with Deputy Headteacher Mrs Kidd and Assistant Headteacher Mr Ahmed.

They were deeply impressed by the quality of our teaching, the creativity in our classrooms, and the vibrant learning environment that defines our school. Just as importantly, we learned from them, gaining valuable insights into education in China—particularly the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their system.

We are also very pleased to share that I will be visiting China from 1st – 7th November 2025 and will spend time in our partner schools and take part in a Headteachers’ conference. This will be a valuable opportunity to strengthen our links, share best practice, and explore new opportunities that will benefit both our students and staff.

These exchanges highlight our commitment to delivering a world-class education rooted in a global perspective. We look forward to keeping you updated as this exciting partnership continues to grow. Watch this space!
